Student Leadership

The development of leadership skills in a supportive environment is one of the learning opportunities offered to senior students at St John’s. Having effective student leaders supports the development of responsible behaviours, creates a positive school environment and encourages students to role model the school values.

There are a variety of student leadership opportunities that include: School Captains, Student Representative Council (SRC), House Captains and other specific committee roles. The roles of School and School-vice Captains are gender balanced while the students voted for SRC and House Captain are selected based on the votes received regardless of gender.
